St. Nikolaus Day
St. Nikolaus Day is maybe my most favorite of our Christmas traditions. Love it. Love it. Love it.
If you don't know about this holiday...Google it or something. I fell in love with the traditions when I lived in Germany and we've always celebrated it since having kids. I think it's one of the things they look most forward to, as well.
What you should know is that our dog thinks she's one of the kids (or maybe a level higher in the social order than the kids). And she has no issues with stealing chocolate. Which means St. Nick can't actually leave the gifts under the tree all night.
