Savannah: Day #3

Can you stand more pictures of this beautiful city?  If you are into architecture, this is the place to be.

The only Gothic style synagogue in the United States.

After hearing and hearing about how the ice cream at Leopold's is ranked #3 in the country, we finally had some.  Meh.  I guess my ice cream palate is not that sophisticated.  It didn't stand out as anything special, to me.  That said, the atmosphere inside is outstanding.  It was like being taken directly into the 50's.

Of course, around the corner, is a macaroon shop.  Had I known, I would have made them choose.  But, we stumbled upon it directly after getting the ice cream.  You know I bought two.

Some random guy playing his violin in the park.  I just like the picture.

The Cloyd's are incapable of being near a river without taking the obligatory cruise.  They are all kind of the same.  They take you a piece in one direction and then turn around to take you in the other.  Roundtrip = a mile or two.  All of them seem to run on the same theme of shipping with any differentiation focused on what is being shipped.  Last time, when we were in Illinois, we learned all about the transporting of corn.  Far more than corn gets shipped out of this port.
