Winding up 500 yards of sock yarn into a ball makes me wonder why all the nice yarns only come in hanks.  They should just sell it in balls.  Because, if you've ever try to knit something from a hank (without winding it up), you are going to end up with a tangle-y mess. 

Who needs that?

Fortunately, I learned that lesson a long time ago.

These yarns are much lovelier in person.  Except for the "pearlescent tonal".  I'm not crazy about that one.
